The Living Statues Festival takes place throughout the city center of Doetinchem. Performances can be found at various locations, including Catharina- and Simonsplein, Heezenstraat and Heezenpoort, Hamburgerstraat, Waterstraat, Nieuwstad, and Boliestraat.

Kids living statues 

Saturday is all about young talent. At eight locations throughout the city center, children will present their own living statue performances. There will also be a special kids' workshop on Simonsplein, where children can learn the tricks of the trade.

Highlight of the festival 

On Sunday, over 20 professional living statues will shine at various spots in the heart of Doetinchem. From 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, enjoy a wide range of performances at locations including Catharina- and Simonsplein, Heezenstraat and Heezenpoort, Hamburgerstraat, Waterstraat, Nieuwstad, and Boliestraat. Shopping

Sunday, June 29, is also the last Sunday of the month, which means most shops in the city center will be open from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

(Fun) shopping is what you do in Lekker. Doetinchem. You’ll find everything in the city center: from large fashion chains on Hamburgerstraat to unique boutiques on Boliestraat. For special specialty shops, head to the Heezenstraatjes, and those who wander further through the streets will naturally discover atmospheric spots like Catharinaplein, Waterstraatplein, and Nieuwstad.

Parking

Street-level parking is free on sunday. Regular parking rates apply in the Amphion, MediaMarkt, and Catharina parking garages. Arriving by bike? The supervised bicycle parking facilities at Waterstraat and Nieuwstad are free to use.

Doetinchem has three large parking garages:

 Amphiongarage (€ 1,80 per hour and max. € 4,00 per day)

 Catharinagarage ( € 2,40 per hour and max. € 14,40 per day) 

 MediaMarktgarage (max. € 4,50 per day).

Two guarded bicycle parking

Nieuwstad (right opposite the town hall) and Perlstein (Waterstraat). It is possible to charge an electric bicycle at perlstein bicycle parking.
